Where are we supposed to be? Last year in February, we were supposed to travel to Vietnam and ended up in Chiang Mai Thailand instead. This time, we had planned to stay in Chiang Mai but ended up going to Vietnam instead. Where are we supposed to be? In North Vancouver, some might say. We own a home there after all. Or in Sweden where my parents are growing old. Or in Korea where we have our Korean family. Of course, we can only be in one place at a time. So, we’ve settled for fluttering, for now. Like butterflies from flower to flower. Soon, we’ll land on Jeju Island to rest for a while. In the end, it doesn’t really matter where we are. What matters is that we’re at peace. And able to just be. So we carry on. Fluttering. Resting. Being wherever we go.
