Sadly most of us have lost a loved one to cancer. It’s a struggle for everyone when the diagnosis is given. There is no easy way to deal with it. That is why this book is such a gift. The author takes the reader on a heartfelt, inspiring journey through the steps of cancer, from getting the diagnosis to dealing with the outcome. The book shares several poems that include links to songs made with the poems in mind. The effort that the author made to offer a supportive environment for the reader is amazing. Since the book is very honest and open about the struggles of cancer and chemo, it is a must-read for anyone who has a loved one who has been diagnosed or has been personally diagnosed with cancer. Heck, it is even helpful for people who don’t have loved ones who are struggling, because the web that cancer spins is so broad, we all come into contact with it at some point in some way.
