  • A truthful peek into the struggles of cancer

    Sadly most of us have lost a loved one to cancer. It’s a struggle for everyone when the diagnosis is given. There is no easy way to deal with it. That is why this book is such a gift. The author takes the reader on a heartfelt, inspiring journey through the steps of cancer, from getting the diagnosis to dealing with the outcome. The book shares several poems that include links to songs made with the poems in mind. The effort that the author made to offer a supportive environment for the reader is amazing. Since the book is very honest and open about the struggles of cancer and chemo, it is a must-read for anyone who has a loved one who has been diagnosed or has been personally diagnosed with cancer. Heck, it is even helpful for people who don’t have loved ones who are struggling, because the web that cancer spins is so broad, we all come into contact with it at some point in some way. Beautiful illustrations accompanied by an emotional retelling of the struggles make this book a true work of art.

I could tell that the author had the best interests of all readers in mind while they were writing this. The author gave so much valuable advice and information to aid in the process of starting a small business, which is no easy feat, but this book makes it all a little easier!

  • Everything you need in one book

    I like to cover my bases and make sure I look for any book that can get complement the knowledge I already regarding this. This book was a fantastic addition to my library of small business guides yet it managed to stand out even more. I really love how it didn’t disregard the struggle of balancing a healthy work-life day to day since everybody thinks they need to make so many sacrifices when working on their small business. While it’s not entirely wrong, aligning the goals of life with the business’ was a great sympathetic touch of this book.

    Not too long nor too short, it covered the most important points of the complicated journey that is trying to grow a business in this day and age. Overall, I found it so helpful and I can’t wait to implement all the tips mentioned!

  • Take a new, refreshing approach to business and life!

    I haven’t read many books that came with their own ‘How to Use This Book’ section. More accurately, I haven’t read any. This, however, shows to me the dedication the author has to offering readers the best chance to succeed.
    Let’s face it, starting a small business isn’t easy. Fortunately, this book can help! I found the SCALE UP system complete with graph work to be very clever and inspiring. I felt that the author did an exceptional job at not only describing the importance of building a sustainable business but also taking care of yourself in the process. Nothing positive happens without balance, right? This is a key point in this book that I agree with. The author went as far as to ask the reader what life purpose means and offer ways to discover your life purpose.
    For me, this book offers mindful insight into the necessary steps to build a small business, but also into being a better version of yourself!
